A 19th century turquoise and gold tassel necklace, circa 1840

Designed as a single row articulated gold snakelink chain of square section and all collet set to each side with a round cabochon turquoise, with loose tie to front suspending two graduated dome-knopped tassels, similarly allover collet set with round and pear shaped cabochon turquoise, pushbutton clasp opening to either side of the front tie.
